Fandom: "You Oughta Know" (song, The Killing Moon cover version)

Summary: 'Cause the love that you gave that we made wasn't able to make it enough for you to be open wide.
Author's Notes: So GrayS asked me to write a story for the version of You Oughta Know done by The Killing Moon, with a male narrator. This is what happened.
Warning: Adult/Underage sexual relationship.

Pairing: Bible - Old Testament; Jonathan/David
Author's Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] roga in Yuletide '08. Thanks for the request; it's turned out to be one of my favorites. (Also, keep an eye out; I might be getting [livejournal.com profile] anonymous_bosh to illustrate this.)

Title: Real Love
Author: m.jules
Rating: R
Summary: In which everybody loves everybody and nobody remembers to care about what's "acceptable."
Disclaimer: If I could marry a movie and have its babies, it would so be this movie. The universe owes Julie Taymor & Co. for that piece of brilliance, not me.
Author's Notes: If I hadn't loved Lucy so much, I might have been tempted to make this purely Max/Jude, but Lucy deserved to be here, in exactly the place she is. This is dedicated to [livejournal.com profile] fireun, and to [livejournal.com profile] fairydusted27, to both of whom I promised fic.

Here you go.

Title: Rubber Ducky, You're the One
Author: m.jules
Fandom: +Anima
Rating: Very Light PG (some very innocent kissing)
Pairing: Cooro/Senri...kinda.
Disclaimer: +Anima and its related characters and situations do not belong to me and I am making no profit from this labor of OMGLOVE.
Author's Notes: ...I cannot believe I have just written +Anima slash. This is like writing Boxcar Children slash. Except not as incestuous. However~! Despite the fact that this was clearly written for one reason alone - and that is to indulge my simpering fangirl adoration of Senri and my guilty pleasure almost-pairing of Cooro/Senri - it doesn't step outside the boundaries already established by canon. No, seriously. Also, what does the title have to do with anything? The fact that every time I tried to think of a title for the story, I kept hearing this song in my head. Maybe it's the song Cooro's humming. Who knows. This one's dedicated to [livejournal.com profile] fireun, because she encourages my delinquency in bad, bad ways.

Title: The Honeymooners
Author: m.jules
Summary: The hotel's all full except for one room. One bed + four boys = More fun than a barrel of monkey-kings. Gen-fic.
Rating: PG for a little swearing. PG-13?
Disclaimer: They're not mine, but if claims are open, I'll take 'em all AND their former-life selves.
Author's Notes: Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness and [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog for helping me out. This came about through a snark session about someone's fic in another fandom that used the cliche of being stuck in one room together, and since I was doing cliche, I decided to do it up right and go all out. Hope you get a kick out of it. I also chose to use "Jeep" for Hakuryuu, since that's what's used most often in the English manga. Plus, it's easier to type.

Title: Know Too Much
Author: m.jules
Summary: It should have never happened. She'll never remember that it did.
Rating: Teen? I'm bad with ratings.
Disclaimer: Gunslinger Girl and its characters do not belong to me and I am not making a profit.
Author's Notes: This is what happens when you have incomplete canon: I have to make up my own reasons. After Elsa, Giuse started withdrawing from Henrietta. This was just one theory on why. (Well, that, and I couldn't get the mental image out of my head.)

For my Henrietta claim at [livejournal.com profile] 4purposes, prompt: WINTER: The wolf breaks free.

Title: The Day of War
Author: m.jules
Rating: PG
Timeline: Speculative future of the manga -- can be read as branching off from "Yet Gentle," possibly a prequel to "They Fought From Heaven."
Pairing: Roy/Al
Disclaimer: No profit, no lawsuit.
Author's Notes: Thanks to my beta squad, [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness, [livejournal.com profile] dr_firedog, [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog, [livejournal.com profile] marlex. For my Roy/Al claim at [livejournal.com profile] 7stages: Theme: "As near as snow"

"Have you come into the secret place of snow, or have you seen the store-houses of ice, which I have kept for the time of trouble, for the day of war and fighting? Which is the way to the place where the wind is measured out, and the east wind sent out over the earth?" - Job 38:22-24

So, hi there. I do not like posting WIPs while they are still in progress, but... the fact is I signed up for a challenge, my entry is due the end of the month, and the story I'm planning on writing for it is contained within this universe. Therefore, in the interest of letting people be familiar with the 'verse before I plop a random PWP down in the middle of it, I am beginning the posting now. (Someone should so make me a series icon for this. *bats eyelashes*)

Title: Daddy's Girl
Author: m.jules
Rating: Mature for the whole series
Summary: Elicia Hughes is all grown up.
Pairings: Many and varied. If slash, het, or polyamory bothers you, you will be bothered.
Warnings: Rather explicit in the realms of sex and violence. You know my fic; it's all very kiss kiss bang bang.
Disclaimer: Mostly not mine, and what is mine is inspired by what isn't mine, so it still doesn't belong to me.
Author's Notes: Thank you for my personal beta squad for their help and encouragement, and oh God I hope this doesn't suck.

"I was my father's daughter. He is dead now and I am a grown woman and still I am my father's daughter. I am many things besides, but I am daddy's girl too and so I will remain." -- Paula Weideger

Title: Orphans of God
Author: m.jules
Summary: We were only children.
Word Count: 1708 (not counting lyrics)
Pairings: None.
Rating: Older Teen, for mature themes and wartime violence.
Disclaimer: Not mine, not for profit.
Author's Notes: For the July challenge at [livejournal.com profile] fullservicefma, theme 'uniform.'

The unrest in Ishbal became a full-fledged war when an Amestrian soldier shot and killed an Ishbalan child. I took a few liberties with this idea and made this child the brother of the story's narrator. To stem any confusion, the narrator of this story is not Scar; it's an original character who saw the war through a child's eyes. The title and opening quote are both from "The Orphans of God" by Mark Heard. The full lyrics are at the end, and are dedicated to every nation that has ever found itself the object of prejudice and the victim of war.

Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness, [livejournal.com profile] dr_firedog, and [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog for their beta services.

Title: Time in a Bottle
Author: m.jules
Rating: PG?
Disclaimer: Not mine.
Prompt: Pumpkin
Characters/Pairings: Maes & Elicia, OT4 mentions
Author's Notes: This is for [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness's birthday, because Maes insisted that nothing could be better than a story about his daughter. It is also for the "pumpkin" prompt of the [livejournal.com profile] color_i_fic Garden of Eden challenge. Not only that, but it serves as a very-far-in-the-past prequel to my as-yet unposted story, "Daddy's Girl." Title and opening quote from "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce.

Happy Birthday, Dana!

Title: White Shadows
Author: m.jules
Rating: Oh, so very adult.
Disclaimer: Not mine. And Arakawa would so hurt me for this.
Summary: Everybody needs Maes one way or another.
Pairings: Maes/Riza, OT4
Author's Notes: For the [livejournal.com profile] fullservicefma Shadows challenge. Title taken from Coldplay's song of the same name. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness for the beta, and [livejournal.com profile] evil_little_dog for the encouragement. If you want to leave feedback for me, I'll be the one hiding in the corner blushing from the sheer amount of PWP she's been posting lately, and blaming her horny muses. (Maes, I'm lookin' at you.)
Warnings: Mentions of polyamory (a word I think I may have just invented), graphic sexual activity between two consenting adults, slight BDSM themes. I think that covers it. I hope.

Title: Eternal Weight of Glory
Author: m.jules
Summary: There are some things more important than immortality -- like life.
Author's Notes: Spoilers for chapter 50 (and corresponding chapters). Takes place sometime within chapter 50, during the hours they spend in the Endless Place. (Come on, I'm trying to be non-spoilery here!) Thank-you to [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness for encouraging me!
Verse: Manga, obviously.
Disclaimer: All belongs to Arakawa-sensei. I am not making a profit.
Characters/Pairings: Ling & Ed (with implied Ling/Ran Fan and Ed/Winry.)

Title: Under Calico Skies
Author: m.jules
Rating: T+ - sexual stuff
Fandom/Pairing: Fullmetal Alchemist; Maes/Roy/Riza
Wordcount: 884, give or take.
Disclaimer: If they were mine, this kind of stuff would be IN the manga. Which is why it’s a good thing they belong to Hiromu Arakawa instead, because I wanna tell stories like that when I grow up.
Summary: “He knew he wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for them; knew that he’d have fallen apart long ago if they hadn’t held him together between their own bodies.”
Author’s Notes: For [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness’s Under 400 Drabble (*SNORT* I barely held it under 1,000). Her prompts were: The Limits of Friendship (or No Limits), Flowers, and Weather. Title and opening quote are from Paul McCartney’s “Calico Skies,” which is my default Maes/Roy/Riza song.
