Title: Honeymoon

Prompt: Firelight, Ring, Stubble
Wordcount: 371
Rating: ERM. Not for children
Warnings: Polyamorous semi-smut (but that's not really a *warning*...)

“Don’t you think this is a strange way to celebrate your marriage?” Roy asked, albeit a bit breathlessly, as Maes licked the place where his shoulder curved into his neck.

“Not at all,” Gracia answered him, her arms wrapped around him and her hands flattened over his stomach. He felt the cool metal band of her ring and shivered delicately. It was exactly five days after her wedding to Maes, and the newlyweds had invited Roy and Riza over for “an official honeymoon,” as Maes had put it.

Maes slipped an arm around Riza and pulled her close, nuzzling her jaw affectionately as he linked their hands together and cradled her, her back against his chest. The flickering light from the nearby fireplace bounced off his own wedding band, making reflections on the ceiling. “You’ve both been with us from the beginning, and I don’t see that changing,” he added. “It’s only appropriate you’d be here now.”

He and Gracia shared besotted smiles over the other couple’s heads, and Roy could do nothing but smile at his friend’s reasoning. “In that case,” he grinned, reaching up for Maes.

The other man released Riza, who slipped to the side, as he leaned forward to accept Roy’s invitation. With Gracia cradling Roy and Riza wrapped around Maes from behind, though the women’s legs were outstretched and tangled with each other, their men kissed tenderly, Maes’s stubble bringing a brighter shade of pink to Roy’s chin.

“Congratulations,” Roy whispered as they parted.

Riza smiled at Gracia and manuevered until she could kiss the other woman. “What he said,” she winked.

“Hey, don’t I get one of those?” Maes complained mildly, and everyone chuckled as first Riza obliged him, then Gracia.

“Spoiled,” Roy accused, though his voice was full of affection, and Gracia leaned over to kiss him, ruffling his hair.

“With two attention hogs like you and my husband, it’s a wonder Riza and I ever get anything,” she giggled, and Riza grinned with her, stroking Roy’s chest with the easy familiarity of long-time lovers.

“Good thing you love us so much, then,” Maes pointed out, and Gracia gave him an angelic smile.

“For you, it certainly is, husband,” she laughed, kissing him sweetly.
