Heee. I just claimed it about a week back. I saw the first anime DVD and it ate my brain. I'm supposed to be getting the rest of the series soon, and I've read the manga. There are only three volumes released in the US and I haven't been able to find scanlations of the other four that I know are out in Japan. I'm a little lost, too, but this scene popped into my head and wouldn't shut up, so... I wrote it. I was planning on waiting about writing until I'd finished the anime.

And no, it's only my personal theory about the aging thing, although it does seem to be supported. But it's not hard canon.
