Title: Undercover Blues
Pairing: Maes/Riza/Roy
Prompt: Jealousy, Silk, Train Ticket
Wordcount: 300 on the nose.
Warnings: Crack!
Apologies: I wanted to actually get a sex scene, but it took me 300 words to set it up. I suck.
“Jealous?” Maes whispered in his ear as his hands settled on the alchemist's shoulders.
“Not yet,” Mustang muttered, his eyes fixed on the gorgeous blonde in the white minidress as she chatted up another customer.
Maes leaned in closer, his warm breath making Mustang shudder, and reached into the breast pocket of Roy’s blue silk shirt, coming out with a handful of bills and a crumpled train ticket-stub.
He pressed the bills into Roy’s palm and murmured, “Let’s take her home, Roy.”
Roy looked at the money in his hand and felt chills run down his spine at the thought of just where Hawkeye was going to shoot him for this, but they were undercover, looking for information, and couldn’t afford to blow it now.
Still, Hughes was right. There wasn’t anything else they were going to find tonight; it was time to get Riza off the street. He approached the blonde with only slight trepidation -- she did have a gun hidden somewhere -- and slipped the money into her hand.
She looked at him, every inch the sultry temptress, and purred, “What about your friend, Tiger? Won’t he be jealous?”
Roy grinned and shook his head. “Can’t be jealous if he’s involved, can he?”
She conceded wordlessly and Roy offered her his arm. Maes took her other arm as they passed him, making their way to a waiting cab. Riza sat between them, and Roy flinched as she turned a flinty glare on him and pulled out her gun.
“Tell me you were only joking back there, and I’ll shoot you,” she warned. When Hughes snickered, she pressed the barrel of the gun into his thigh. “Both of you.”
“Take us home, Havoc,” Roy said to the driver, and Havoc grinned around his cigarette.
“You got it, boss.”
