Author's Notes: Why am I writing fic for a 1991 political drama starring John Cusack and James Spader? Aside from the fact that every time they were on screen together I expected them to start kissing? Um, I don't know. I told unanon, sometimes I go looking for slash, but sometimes slash just comes looking for me. And she postulates that writing fic for long-dead/nonexistent fandoms is the hot new thing to do. Or maybe...it just happened. *laugh*

And yes, this spoils the whole movie if you haven't seen it.
