And I think my idea for Ling coming up with the idea to share was, in my mind, Ling knowing he wasn't strong enough to actually *fight* Greed for control at that moment, and not wanting to lose complete control. Bargaining, as it were. *shrug* Like I said in the A/N, I'm still not quite sure what I think of that one, whether I'm 100% happy with it or not.
