Oh wow! I just happened across these little fics, and I absolutely LOVE the second one. I especially love the ending line. I could definitely see the potential for Greed/Ling/RanFan (Whether you intended that or not, you managed to bring out the compassion in Greed and the greed out of both Ling and Ran Fan. They just seem to fit now XD) Although, it seems that Ran Fan is quite confident that Ling will overpower Greed and reclaim his body for himself one day. Her dedication and maturity is impressive, and I think you captured that quite well.
